The Australian Forestry Standard Limited (AFSL) is a not-for-profit public
company and accredited (by ABSDO) Standards Development Organisation . AFSL
has developed the Australian Forest Management and Chain of Custody Standard
(AS4708 & AS4707). These elements are the base for the Australian Forest
Certification Scheme (AFCS) and have mutual recognition by the international
Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Scheme (PEFC).
